One is called MitzvahMeat which does deliveries throughout the NY metro area including NJ, Bronx, and Long Island (I think). I am a teacher at a Jewish preschool and found a copy of The Farmer's Alphabet at a library book sale. I carefully cut out the pages, laminated them, put them on the wall, and that is the alphabet my suburban Jewish children see in the classroom each day! Your comments apply where I live as well, urban, but with a Christian influenced culture that doesn't always understand our holidays. Best to you and your family as winter sets in.
