Why This Blog Has Been So Quiet

Sharon February 5th, 2010

I haven’t forgotten y’all – I’m having technical difficulties. I’ve also finally figured out how to keep this blog active but also fully differentiate it from the other blog, but that’s a project to explain another day, and one that will probably have to wait until I’m done with the book.

Meanwhile, lots more content over at my new blog www.scienceblogs.com/casaubonsbook. I’ve also got a post up there about the next class (farm and garden design starting in two weeks!), the next apprenticeship weekend (Memorial Day, for families with kids who want to learn livestock care, gardening skills, preserving, etc… together) and my next two appearances (Concord NH and Boston, MA)

More soon, I promise, as technical difficulties are finally resolved.

How about a hot link to your new blog at the top of this blog.

    Technical issues?

Was it that you had to make sure the ads on the new site for the National Guard were loading?

I am sorry to see that the nastier types from Scienceblogs have noticed you (although two of the most malevolent and hateful people I know of there have shown up on your blog and been perfectly civil and in one case quite charming – just don’t gore their sacred cow, I guess). You really are a good influence with the tone you set, and I hope it will rub off on others there. But I’m not holding my breath.

Hi Koshka – I have no control over the ads. I could come back here entirely, where I have total control over the ads, and have considered it, but have decided that more audience for a message I think worth transmitting is worth the price.
