  5. When i received my coach handbag the box looked like it was ran over by a truck, extremely bent and distorted…opened the box and the bag was inside with absolutely no packaging either in the bag or around the bag just stuffed inside a cardboard box…dont get me wrong im all for saving a buck and utilizing the one size if it fits it ships, but come on, this is a $300 purse and a little presentation would be nice…really made me less interested in the handbag all together :(

  6. I have not yet put together the full kits or their materials – that will be available in late winter here. In the meantime, here are some suggestions for garden combinations you may want to put together yourself.

I recently purchased your book, “Independence Days” and love it. In your chapter on Fermentation, the section on salting, you gave a recipe for salt-herb stock base. I am making this base this afternoon and would like to know if after I combine the herbs and salt, do I let the mixture dry out before I put it in jars or is the base moist? Does the base need to be refrigerated as most soup bases do after they are opened? Please share as much information about this subject as possible.

    Thank you very much,

    Joe Tabor

I’m interested in your idea of a garden plant
CSA, where you start plants for other gardeners. I had thought of this, but could find anyone else who had had the same idea, or had actually done it. How does that work out for you?

Also, looking at the tomato plants in the first photo – were these winter sown? The size looks about right, I don’t winter sow this way, but if I were selling the plants, I probably would do individual pots.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response,
